With only two weeks left in CEVO-P Season 9 there are still
many questions to be asked. Will the surprising PoV be able to hold off EG,
MoB, and coL for that #2 seed in the playoffs? Even after Frag Dominant's 5-2
start will they be able to hold of j1n for that final playoff spot? Well it all
starts now!
Also I have been away from the scene for a little bit (CEVO-P) so
unfortunately the predictions won't be to in-depth this time around L.
Predictions: Mug N` Mouse (7-11) vs. x3o (17-2) This one surely should turn out to be a better watch than
the first time these two teams met. Even though x3o is undoubtedly the best
team in North America the boys from Texas
have been on a roll lately. Before forfeiting to PoV last week mNm had won six
straight propelling them from the laughing stock of CEVO-P to a team that has a
chance to make playoffs.. Albeit a small one. With that said though x3o has not
lost since week 4-2 when they beat, oh who do you know, mNm. Don't see
impulsive and squad losing anytime soon so watch for x3o to win this match by a
fair margin.
Prediction: x3o >

Complexity (11-7) vs.
Frag Dominant
(10-8) This is sure to be the match of the week. Not just because
if coL loses this they are tied in 5th/6th place with FD
or if FD loses they, FD that is, may be tied in 6th/7th with j1n but because of what happened the first time around these two teams
met. I don't know the story behind it but for whatever reason FD had to play
with four people which caused them to lose 16-0 and have some choice words to
say to coL. If FD still has feelings left over from that match then I expect
them to come out with an all or nothing type of attitude. I am sure they would
love to get back at coL and help them miss the playoffs. However, there is one
thing going against them (and no I am not talking about raw skill). FD went 0-2
on nuke during the 3rd week while coL went 2-0. Don't see them
winning here.
Prediction: Complexity
> Frag Dominant [16-11] PTW: Danny ‘fRoD' Montaner PTW: Ric ‘iNERTIA'
Bundy Ruins (6-12) vs.
FEROCITY (7-12) I don't know much about either team but Ruins looks like a
huge pug with a bunch of lower tier CEVO-P players. Even though Ferocity does
not have a roster that jumps out at you either they will come into this match
with a lot more teamwork and still have that glimmer of hope for the playoffs.
If they want to make a run at the playoffs it has to start now.
Prediction: FEROCITY
> Ruins [16-12] PTW: Peter ‘BGz' Johnson PTW: Don ‘b33f' Frain
j1n (9-10) vs. EG.usa
(12-6) Well here is an interesting match. A team in j1n that has
probably died 5 times in the last week vs. a team in EG that no one knows what
they are doing. Still both teams are right in the thick of things and probably
will come into the match ready to win. If this was a month ago this match would
be a no-brainer but because of all the roster shake-ups I don't know if EG is
that much more skilled then the other teams anymore or if the chemistry is
fully there yet. My bet it isn't... which isn't a good sign since j1n isn't that
good.
Prediction: j1n >
EG.usa [16-13] PTW: Matt ‘mxd-x1-' Chung PTW: Jordan ‘n0thing' Gilbert
Devastation (6-12) vs. MoB Gaming
(12-6) I am not to sure who is playing for MoB since evolution isn't @ready on
the roster but whoever it's I am sure they will easily beat this team from Canada. DEV has lost five
straight matches and I am sure MoB will see to it that it's six after this one
goes final.
Prediction: MoB Gaming > Devastation
[16-5] PTW: Richard ‘r2' Randall PTW: Joe ‘perez' Perez |
