NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK - July 4th, 2011 - Just three months after a successful expansion to Counter-Strike: Source, WinOut, the instructional gaming video provider, will now support Team Fortress 2 in addition to our current support of Counter-Strike: Source and Counter-Strike 1.6. The website boasts hundreds of video commentaries from the world's best players, video playbooks of the best teams and other facilitating content to help and teach players to improve upon their current skillset for their WinOut Pro membership service.
Team Fortress 2 has been ranked the #3 Game on Steam for quite some time. Now, with Team Fortress 2 recently being made FREE, the game has topped the Steam Statistics as the most popular game on Steam and nearly doubles the #2 game, Counter-Strike 1.6, in daily players at nearly 100,000! It is with no doubt that Team Fortress 2 will continue to grow and expand wildly. Pro Players from teams such as The Experiment, Check Six and Area51 will be assissting WinOut with content creation for Team Fortress 2.
Tyler "TLR" Morgan from The Experiment had this to say,"I'm glad to see WinOut expanding into Team Fortress 2. I think it's going to be a great way for up-and-coming players to improve their game."
"Team Fortress 2 is such a great game, but it's the community that's going to make the difference as to how far it can go. The Pro players that we've been in contact with since our launch have been so supportive that there is no doubt in our mind that TF2 will continue to grow at a steady pace." said Doug Jacobson, Founder of WinOut.
With the Launch of Team Fortress 2, we've released a series of class guides from some of Team Fortress 2's top players as well as a TF2 Video Submission Contest with first place prize being the Acer 23.6" 120hz 2ms LCD Monitor. Check out our videos below:
Such an exciting move on behalf of WinOut.net with such a great community as Team Fortress 2, without a doubt our expansion into the game will be none other than a success.
I agree with Tyler, this is a HUGE step for TF2. I can't wait to see it explode with the help of WinOut =]. TF2 is one of the best team oriented games out there, with the right guides/pro tips/practice, there will be a lot of new up and comers ready to frag it up with the pros.
Stay tuned to WinOut!
Cheers!
