Interstate 95 was originally created in the Summer of 2007 to compete in CAL-Invite. Due to inactivity, the team disbanded and the name was used for a 3 Month Counter-Strike 1.6 lesson.

In February of 2008, the team came back together when Fatal Effect & ReV.eSports merged together to compete in CAL-Invite & CEVO-Professional.
